Happy Solstice and holiday season, my dear friends!
As the days are getting longer, may we live through much, much brighter times!
So another crazy year is coming to an end – I honestly don’t know where the time has gone!
A lot of us have lost loved ones, others are simply exhausted with the state of the world. Maybe a bit of both. (I relate to both).
Despite all the darkness a lot of us have had to endure, it’s important to count ones blessings. For the sake of mental health especially.
But also because, as many of us believe, expressing gratitude signals the universe/multiverse to send even more goodness your way.
I’m grateful to each and every one of you on this journey with me. Everyone who shows me continued support, whichever way you can. Words can’t describe just how much I appreciate you all. Some of you even purchased my albums multiple times, donated to my projects or surprised me thoughtful Christmas gifts. I’m so touched and honoured, thank you all so, SO much!
“Curious Forest Spirits” will sound especially magical and I hope you’ll agree! I honestly am itching to release it.
A bereavement and catching covid shortly after have delayed my album progress but I can’t wait to continue where I left off in the New Year!
Some of you know I take a little time-out over Christmas to play point-and-click adventure games with my family. It’s our little geeky tradition, especially when it comes to playing games like King’s Quest (the good old ones!).
Although this is the second year in a row now where we can’t all be together (due to restrictions), we’re making the most of it and escaping into fantasy land. With plenty of vegan snacks of course!
I hope you have a magical holiday season and a fantastic New Year! We will get through all of this madness some day. In the meantime, look after yourself and your loved ones and please stay safe and well.
Does your family have its own little traditions, like mine? How do you usually spend your holidays?
